Ian Buxton
Ian Buxton has a background in marketing and has been involved in the drinks business for decades. Over time he has written a score of books, mainly about whisky, but also about rum and gin. His book 101 Whiskies to Try before You Die, triggered a whole series of ‘101’ books about liquor. As a consultant to the industry he was partly responsible for the development of Dewar’s World of Whisky at Aberfeldy distillery. Other books from his hand are historical publications about Morrison Bowmore Distillers and Glenfarclas. He is a Keeper of the Quaich and a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Distillers. His latest book is Whiskies Galore (2017).
