Ian Buxton
Ian Buxton heeft een marketingachtergrond en is al decennia lang werkzaam in de drankenindustrie. Gedurende die tijd heeft hij een hele serie boeken geschreven over whisky, maar ook over gin en rum. Zijn boek 101 Whiskies to Try before You Die triggerde en een hele serie rond ‘101’ sterke dranken. Ook schreef hij historische boeken over Morrison Bowmore Distillers, Glenfarclas en Dewars. Voor het laatste bedrijf was hij ook betrokken bij de ontwikkeling van Dewar’s World of Whisky, onderdeel van Aberdeldy Distillery. Hij is een Keeper of the Quaich en Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Distillers. Zijn meest recente boek is van 2017 en heet Whiskies Galore.
