Valentino Zagatti, The Unseen Collection van Hans & Becky Offringa is een uitzonderlijke whiskypublicatie voor verzamelaars, historici en liefhebbers van oude flessen. Deze monumentale limited edition documenteert de beroemde Valentino Zagatti Collection, een van de meest bijzondere privécollecties whiskyflessen ter wereld.

De set bestaat uit 5 luxe delen van elk 300 pagina’s, samen goed voor 1.500 pagina’s whiskygeschiedenis. De flessen zijn alfabetisch per merk gerangschikt en binnen elk merk chronologisch beschreven. De oudste fles in de collectie dateert uit 1843, waardoor dit werk niet alleen een overzicht van flessen is, maar ook een indrukwekkende reis door de geschiedenis van gebottelde whisky.

Hans & Becky Offringa, internationaal bekend als The Whisky Couple, hebben deze publicatie geschreven en geproduceerd in opdracht van Scotch Whisky International. Waar mogelijk is historische context toegevoegd, zodat merken, bottelingen, etiketten en flesvormen in hun tijd geplaatst worden.

De eerste vier delen bevatten de collectie zelf. Elk deel opent met een essay over onderwerpen als Valentino Zagatti, de geschiedenis van glas, etiketten en de psychologie van verzamelen. Het vijfde deel, de Appendix, bevat informatie over het museum, indexen en een uitgebreid register van whiskybedrijven.
